What's
in an organic veg box?
The different elements that go into our boxes will change
with the seasons and/or availability. We try and source as
much local veg as possible. For example, in a medium box we
try to include at least 6 different items. This week (in January)
we include: Potatoes, Carrots, Onions, Parsnips, a January
King Cabbage, Brussel Sprouts, Leeks and a Swede. We may be
able to change a couple of items to suit any dietary needs
but if you want to be more specific then please order individual
items.
What's
in an organic fruit box?
Again the different elements that go into our boxes will
change with the seasons and/or availability. Fruit boxes
are made up by our suppliers in Wetherby. For example, in
a medium fruit box this week (in January) we have: Apples,
Bananas, Kiwi, Oranges, Lemons and Avocado.
What's
in an organic juicing bag?
The bags contain larger amounts of certain fruit or vegetables
for juicing.

Do you sell organic
alcohol?
Yes, we are licensed to sell beers, wines and spirits.
How
do I place an order by e-mail?
Subscribe to our mailing list by sending your e-mail address
to info@arthursorganics.karoo.co.uk. An up-to-date price
list is issued every Thursday. Simply fill in the amounts
you desire and return your list as an attachment to orders@arthursorganics.karoo.co.uk
by 8 p.m. the next day.
How
do I place an order from the web site?
Click on the "check out our latest price list"
icon on the home page. This will bring you to the latest
price list. Fill in your desired amounts and return it as
an attachment by e-mail to orders@arthursorganics.karoo.co.uk.
How
do I place an order by phone?
Please call Sharon on 01482 212437 by Friday 8 p.m. with
your order. You can call your order in each week or be added
to our phone list and we will ring you on Thursday or Friday
night.

What is the deadline
for orders?
All orders must be in by Friday 8 p.m.
What
if I have to cancel my order?
If you have to cancel your order then please let us know
before Friday 8 p.m. Orders cancelled after this time will
still be charged to your account.
When
will I get my order?
We have 4 delivery rounds that take place on a Tuesday and
Wednesday of each week. Tuesday we deliver to West Hull.
Wednesday delivery is to East Hull, the city centre and
surrounding villages from Brough to Walkington and, from
Beverley to Bilton. Once you have submitted your address
we will inform you when to expect your delivery.
What if I'm out when
you deliver my order?
If no one is home to accept delivery we can leave your box
in a convenient place - somewhere dry, on front step, in
back garden/ shed - just let us know when you place your
order. Please keep your old boxes clean and dry. We will
collect them for re-use when we deliver your next order.
Is
there a minimum order?
Yes we
have a minimum order of £5.00.

Is there a charge
for delivery?
No, there is no charge for delivery.
How
do I pay?
All payments must be made upon delivery. You can pay either
by cash or cheque. Please make cheques payable to: Arthur
Street Trading Co. Ltd.
How
do I pay if I'm not at home when you deliver?
You can send a cheque to:

Prompt payment is much appreciated.
How
do I make a complaint?
As much as we try, things do not always run smoothly. We
occasionally don't get all the produce we order or we cannot
check each item. We are sorry if these things occur and
we will do what we can to put things right. If you have
